Stop the Bleed training
Stop the Bleed trainings are conducted on demand by Keri Taylor, PH & DES. Contact her at 485-2444 for more information.

Community Service
Public Health has provided community service through other drives and events like Food Bank donation drives, incentives to participate in surveys (Smoke and CO2 detectors!), hand sanitizer handouts during covid, Fanny packs of PPE to First Responders and many purchases for other agencies and departments for equipment.

School Supplies Drive
School supplies donation drive is conducted in August by the PH Dept. Containers are placed at CCM (Grocery store), the PH office (by the door) and possibly at the Sr Center and/or Hardware store. Supplies are gathered and distributed to the area schools in Circle (CHS, Redwater and Bo-Peep), Vida Elementary School and the Hutterite Colony School. Specific lists will be provided on social media, posters and listed here closer to the date!

Annual Flu Shot Clinic & Exercise
The annual flu shot clinic & exercise is generally scheduled for early October. It is a drive by clinic conducted at the Melvin & Kay Johnson Fire Hall. Paperwork is available on the PH FB page, at the office and the Post Office lobby.

Angel Tree
McCone County PH has been conducting the Angel Tree for many years. “Angels” are distributed to persons who might be alone, having a hard time or just needing a brighter Christmas. The information collected is written on Angel tags that hang on the tree at the Grasslands Federal Credit Union in November. People select the tag or tags they want to provide for, purchase and wrap the gifts and place under the tree. Delivery is a fantastic event with lots of school student volunteers, parents, community members and club driving around town in ambulance rigs and vehicles to deliver the gifts.
